Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 confirmed to be launched in October 2018, there is one more exciting news for Xiaomi fans. You may not have to wait till October for a new Xiaomi smartphone, after all. Sources  the Chinese company is planning to hold a launch event later in September , where it plans to unveil the Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth and the Xiaomi Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition.


Multiple leaks have claimed that the Chinese manufacturer may hold an unveil event later this month to announce two new Xiaomi phones.
It is speculated that the two upcoming phones from the company are Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth and Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition. A tipster from China has shared an image that contains the specs of the alleged Mi 8 Youth.

Specs:

According to the leak, the Mi 8 Youth will sport a 6.26-inch display with a notch and a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.
The handset is slated to get the Snapdragon 710 SoC at its core, which is the same chipset powering the Mi 8 SE.
Mi 8 youth paired with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB onboard storage.

The Mi 8 Youth will arrive with a dual camera with a primary sensor of 12 MP. The secondary could be 2 MP or 5 MP, depending on how Xiaomi wants to market the device.
 The selfie shooter will have an impressive 24 MP sensor, meaning the Mi 8 Youth might be indeed targeted to young people who like to take selfies.

 Mi 8 Youth will come with a 3,350mAh battery that could be powered by Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0.

 Smartphone has been available on the TENAA site. It is believed that the listing is of the same Mi 8 Youth that has been leaked on Weibo.
 Further, the TENAA listing shows that the smartphone comes in a variety of colour options, including Black, Rose Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray, Silver, and Green among others.
It also shows that the phone measures 156.4x75.8x7.5mm and weighs 169 grams., it is likely to come with Android 8.1 Oreo update with MIUI custom interface on top.
The smartphone could be unveiled either on September 18 or September 19. In terms of pricing, the base variant is expected to set you back by RMB 1,999 (roughly Rs 21,000).
