Moto G5 set to launch in India on April 4-Amazon Exclusive

Lenovo unveiled the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Just after that, the company launched the Moto G5 Plus in India earlier this month and was silent on the prospects of Moto G5 launching here.
But now, we have a date for that as well. April 4th. The Moto G5 will be launching in India next week at an event in New Delhi, for which we just got an invite.

According to a press release from Amazon India, the sale for the phone will start from April 5 at 12 midnight onwards. Previously the Moto G4 series, including the G4, G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play were exclusive to Amazon.

The company has already launched the Moto G5 Plus in India in two different variants- The 3GB RAM + 16GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 14,999 while the 4GB RAM + 32GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999.

As far as specifications of Moto G5 is concerned, it features a 5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of a 1980 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4 ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU.
The phone is backed by a 2GB of RAM and an option of 16GB and 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the Moto G5 sports a 13-megapixel with aperture f/2.0, 1.1-micron pixels and PDAF, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter.
The device comes with removable 2800mAh battery coupled with 10W rapid charger and supports connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro USB port.
 The device measures 144.3 x 73 x 9.5 mm and weighs 144.5 grams.
And it Runs  Android Nougat
Including Fingerprint Reader.
