Huawei"s First Android 7 Smartphone Honor V9

Huawei has just released a teaser revealing that a new Honor smartphone will be made official this month. Specifically, Huawei’s Honor V9 will be announced on February 21, just one week ahead of MWC 2017..

The company has posted an official teaser which reveals the device name and the launch date as well. Chinese swimmer Sun Yang will serve as product spokesperson for Honor V9.

Honor V9 was spotted in TENNA couple of days back, it appears to feature a unibody metal design. It is expected to boast of a dual camera setup with a LED flash and fingerprint sensor on the back.

According to TENNA, the V9 will have a 12MP + 2MP dual camera setup and on the front, it will have an 8MP camera. It will feature a 5.7-inch QHD display which supposedly has a 2.5D curved glass on top. It is expected to be powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB RAM.

It is also expected to be the first Honor phone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. To power up the device, it will come with a 4000mAh non-removable battery.

Honor has been consistent in global markets, and Indian market has been a major focus of the company so far. It would be interesting to see if Honor brings the V9 in India or not.
