Alcatel to announce 5 new smartphones (Including Modular Smartphone)at the MWC 2017

Alcatel plans to reveal a couple of products in later next month at Mobile World Congress Feb,27.2017,in Barcelona.

Alcatel has just confirmed another press conference for February 27 where we believe at least 5 new smartphones will be unveiled. “Light Up” is the name of the launch event, which rather confirms previous reports that Alcatel plans to launch a smartphone with colorful LEDs that glow in time with the music.

Among those 5 devices, one will feature an interesting modular design which will allow users to enhance the functionality of their phone by replacing the back cover. The concept will be similar to LG’s G5 and Moto Mods for the Moto Z. However, Alcatel claims it has some fun ideas up its sleeves.

Most number of reports claim that the smartphone will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. It is further rumoured to pack an octa-core MediaTek processor under the hood.

While this will be the big focus of the event, there will be a total of five smartphones that will be unveiled at MWC 2017. More clarity on these smartphones will only be attained on event day.
