Asus X00GD Comes With Android 7 Nougat - Leaked Specs

China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center TENAA, has indicated that
 the Asus X00GD will be running Android 7.0 Nougat, and this will make it the first ASUS phone to feature Nougat out-of-the-box.

Taiwanese consumer electronics major Asus is reportedly working on Zenfone 3 Max successor and the news comes just days ahead of the company's Zennovation event at the global Consumer Electronics Major (CES) 2017, Las Vegas (January 5-8). It's also worth mentioning that TENAA confirms the X00GD will be available in different variations based on the amount of memory: 2GB + 16GB, 3GB + 32GB, or 4GB + 64GB.


The smartphone was spotted on TENAA, and seems to be running on Android Nougat out-of-the-box. The listing also includes a couple of images of the device and based on the images, the smartphone could come with a metal body along with a 2.5D glass up front.

ASUS X00GD will be powered by an 8-core processor that is still of unknown origin, but it will manage a speed of 1.5GHz. Also, it is being listed that the smartphone would be available in three color variants - Luxury Gold, Rose Gold, and Black.

The physical Home button hides a fingerprint sensor, while the 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port complete the connectivity options one would need to operate the phone.

The Dual SIM handset measures 149.5mm x 73.7mm x 8.85mm and is a bit hefty for its size due to the battery at 169grams.

It comes with 13MP Back camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Additionally, the smartphone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat
