Google Smartwatch 2.0 Leaked

After launching its first-ever 'made by Google' Pixel Series Smartphones, the  search engine giant  is reportedly readying as many as two brand new smartwatches , to take on Apple's Watch And

The rumour comes from serial tipster Evan Blass, who stated that the company is set to unveil its smartwatches in Q1 2017. Codenamed Angelfish and Swordfish,.

Angelfish is the larger of the two models and when it launches it should be a standalone product enjoying the perks of LTE connectivity, GPS, in combination with a heart-rate sensor.

As for Swordfish, this wearable is going to be the budget alternative. Coming in with a smaller form factor and devoid of LTE and GPS functions, the smartwatch will probably be targeted at those who don’t plan to spend a fortune on a wearable. Both versions are going to come equipped with Google’s virtual assistant, which is said to be more fun to be around and work with than Siri or Alexa.

Swordfish, on the other hand, is smaller and thinner than Angelfish, with a body diameter of 42mm and a thickness of just 10.6mm - 0.8mm. It will be available in silver, titanium, and rose gold color variants. It will support Google's interchangeable MODE watch bands and will be compatible with MODE bands too.
Google is also readying a stand-alone app store for Android Wear 2.0 to download and install apps on the watch without needing users to download and install them on their phones first.
