Earthquake hits India-Pakistan border

A medium intensity earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale today shook the border region of Jammu and Kashmir.
However, there were no immediate reports of loss to life and property in the quake which was epicentred around 62 km from Muzaffarabad in PoK.

 US Geological Survey report, the earthquake was reported from 117KM east of the Swat Valley city of Mingaora, at a depth of 43.4 KM.

The tremors were felt in Peshawar, Gilgit, Chilas and Islamabad.
