Blackberry DTEK60 pre-order-in USA for $500

Blackberry's 2016 flagship phone the DTEK60, codenamed Argon has fallen foul to yet another leak, this time courtesy of US retailer B&H Photo.
The successor to BlackBerry DTEK 50, the DTEK 60, also made by Alcatel,  This DTEK60 was listed as a pre-order on the retailer's site for $499.99, before being taken down, although there wasn't an expected shipping date.BlackBerry DTEK50 was known as “Neon” before it launched.

The DTEK60 has actually been one of the expected BlackBerry smartphones this year.

The DTEK60 was shown to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 WQHD screen, a 21 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front camera, and a USB-C port.  And a fingerprint sensor. The phone will pack in a 3000mAh battery.
It will pack in 32GB of internal storage but can be expanded up to 2TB and will run on Android, although as for which version it will have out-the-box is unclear.
But even though Blackberry published the specs and B&H Photo leaked a pre-order page, Blackberry has yet to officially announce the phone's existence.
All of that has now been confirmed, more or less, thanks to B&H’s pre-order page. It also confirms the overall design of the DTEK60, which resembles the DTEK50 but with a smooth glass back instead of a rugged, textured one.Rumours pointed to two possible release dates: October 11 and October 17, considering we're already on the 12th and there's been no official announcement, we'll wait until the 17th to see if Blackberry says anything.
